Moving further, excess spirit of competition makes a person selfish and antagonist in nature, thus forcing him to welcome all the possible ways to achieve his objective. For example, cheating on exams is a direct outcome of parental pressure to excel so as to prove that “I can beat anyone”. More seriously, getting encouraged to foster such an attitude would finally enable a person to commit silly or even heinous crimes without any remorse. Having a society of talented, successful youth but with sinful heads is no more ideal to live.

Having said all these, it can be concluded that bringing up students and children in a highly competitive society, where co-operation is deliberately neglected, bring more deleterious effects though it would assist to gain success. A more suggestible approach, in my view, is to teach them to help each other and to take competitions only in its true spirit.
