These scenarios would lead to frequent conflicts that usually spill into normal daily life and ultimately damage the parent-child relationship. Specifically, in the recent pandemic, Covid 19, most children required assistance from their parents with schoolwork. However, due to extra demands from homeschooling on parents, they perceived more stress and household chaos, thus levels of parent-child conflicts rose triple. Consequently, during this period, the children reportedly performed worse academically.  

In conclusion, personally, parents are unsuitable to be instructors of their children since their judgment is sometimes skewed, and homeschooling would cause undesired commotions that would harm the parent-child connection.

Moreover, some parents tend to become biased towards their children and provide them with unnecessary advantages. Fortunately, this number is few.

In the end, although teachers play an essential role in the life of a child, parents are the first and best teachers for their child as they are present by their side and observe as an individual evolves from an infant to a mature adult.
