My Unique Family
Many people don’t know this, but my family isn’t a typical one. My mom didn’t give birth to any babies, but she has two children: my sister and me. She took me in when my parents died in an accident. (1). About two years after I came to live with her, we visited an orphanage, and she took in my sister. (2).
My mom’s very kind and takes good care of us. She told me she hadn’t known how to cook, but after she got us, she learned how to cook our favorite dishes. (3). She often forgets where she puts things because she rarely puts them in their right place. My sister is lazy, so I often have to tidy things up. (4). But she’s really sweet and sometimes helps me out, so I don’t mind doing more chores than she does.
I really love my mom. (5). I have grandparents, uncle, aunts, and cousins. We aren’t related by blood, but we care for each other, and I’m very happy to have my family.
