Explorer Nick Middleton teaches geography at Oxford University in England. But he also explores extreme places- the hottest, the coldest, wettest and dries spots on Earth- to find out how people live in these places.

In an interviewer with National Geographic, Middleton talks about his trip to Oymyakon in Siberia, Russia- the coldest inhabited place on Earth. It can get as cold as -71oC there!
