I took this photo while I was visiting Ha Noi on the 12th of January, 2022.
There was a large fire breaking out. At the time of the fire, a 9-year-old boy was trapped in the attic. As soon as the fire fighters arrived, some of them used water to extinguish the fire and one fire fighter climbed on a ladder truck to get into the house.
The rescue was difficult because the fire broke out so intensely that it was impossible to reach.
However, he lifted and tried to get the boy out safely. The boy only sustained minor burns.

I took this photo while I was on my way back home from school. It was an amazing rescue and I was lucky to see it.
It happened while I was cycling past a narrow street on the way back home from school. My friend and I were chatting when we saw a big fire truck. It ran quickly past us. In front of us, there were many people and they were trying hard to take water. There was a fire. A house was burning. There was a man on the third balcony of that house. He screamed for help. The fire prevented him from going down. A fireman bravely climbed up and rescued him. As soon as he was safe, he thanked the firemen. After the fire was under control, we got home.
The man was very lucky to be alive after half an hour in the fire. The rescuers were outstanding and some residents posted a video of the rescue online.
