Climate change is one of the most important issues that people face nowadays. There's an opinion that climate change cannot be reversed at all.

In my opinion, climate change is somehow a natural phenomenon. Millions of years ago, the earth went through many periods of climate change, for example the Ice Age - the time when the whole earth was covered with ice. Therefore, climate change is almost a must-happen phenomenon.

On the other hand, people’s activities are a factor that makes climate change happen faster. Activities such as transportation, manufacturing... release a lot of CO2 into the environment, leading to greenhouse effect and climate change. So, the things that contribute to limiting carbon emission into the environment such as reducing plastic bags, recycling waste... will help slow down the climate change process and save human lives.

It is said that reversing climate change is impossible. It seems to me that this point of view is partly true.  It is hard to stop climate change because of the large population size. In other words, the more people there are, the more CO2 emissions are produced to supply people’s lives. Furthermore, climate change has been occurring for centuries, so it is difficult to stop it.

On the other hand, although we cannot stop global warming overnight, or even over the next several decades, we can slow the rate and limit the amount of global warming.
