Like in the US, we dress up and spend the evening going trick-or-treating on Halloween evening. We also have bonfires and play different games. It’s great fun! We eat Barmbrack, our traditional food on Halloween.

Different from the US, Halloween is not popular in my country. But people in Germany still celebrate a similar day by going to the Pumpkin Festival in Ludwigsburg. You can see lots of pumpkin lanterns and sculptures there. It’s so cool!

People in my country celebrate a 15-day holiday called Pchum Ben every year. During this time, we wear white clothes and gather at pagodas to pray for our dead relatives. We also offer food and drink to the hungry ghosts.
