John: Are you eco-friendly, Maggie?

Maggie: I try to help the environment in lots of ways, John.

John: What kind of things do you do?

Maggie: Well, I turn off the lights when I leave a room. That saves energy.

John: I do that, but my sister always leaves the lights on.

Maggie: You should talk to her about it, I'm sure she'll stop doing it. I also use public transport, and my family don't have a car.

John: How does that help?

Maggie: It reduces the number of cars on the streets and that means less air pollution. Do you recycle, John?

John: Yes, I do, but I can do more for the environment. I'm going to join a volunteer group in my area. I read about it on a blog. They pick up rubbish in the park every weekend.

Maggie: That's a great idea! I should join the volunteer group, too. If we all do something, we'll reduce climate change.

John: Great!

Maggie: We can invite our friends, too. If more of us help the environment, Mother Earth will get better, and everyone wants that.
