There are ten countries in ASEAN, and each of them has its own and unique features in culture, festivals, religions and cuisine. The country I’m most interested in is Thailand with its own interesting cuisine.
Thailand is one of the original members of ASEAN that was formed in 1967. It’s in Bangkok that The Asean Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) was made. Thailand has contributed much in forming and developing a strong and cohesive ASEAN.
Thailand is a country at the centre of the Southeast Asian Indochinese peninsula composed of 76 provinces. At 513,120 km2 and about 69 million people, Thailand is the world’s 50th largest country by total area and the 21st-most-populous country.
The exotic flavours and fragrances make Thai food among the most coveted foods in the world. These flavours and fragrances seem inexhaustible when walking along street in Bangkok. It can simply be juicy pieces of grilled pork on a stick or a fiery bowl of spicy shrimp soup. It’s worth mentioning here spicy green papaya salad, chicken in coconut soup, or red curry that are all delicious and attractive.
Thai foods have a common characteristic of spicy taste which is totally suitable to me. I will return to Thailand as soon as I can to enjoy its delicious foods. Thai restaurants in Hanoi is also a good choice to taste Thai food if we can’t go Thailand right now.ASEAN có mười quốc gia thành viên, mỗi đất nước một nét độc đáo riêng trong văn hóa, lễ hội, tôn giáo và ẩm thực. Còn có thể nhắc đến ở đây các món khác như sa lát đu đủ xanh, súp thịt gà nước dừa hay cà ri đỏ, tất cả đều rất ngon và hấp dẫn.
