Hoi An Ancient Town, recognised as a World Heritage Site in 1999, is located on the north bank of the Thu Bon River, 30 kilometers south of Da Nang City.
Hoi An Ancient Town is famous for its cultural values. Its numerous architectural relics including buildings, temples, pagodas, shrines, etc which reflect the cultural exchange and integration between the Eastern and Western countries. In addition, there are great festivals such as Full Moon Festival held on the 14th of every lunar month and Mid-Autumn Festival held on the 14th of the August lunar month with colorful lanterned nights. Hoi An also has a quiet and healthy natural environment with two beautiful beaches and many pretty villages.
There are many exciting activities available to tourists in Hoi An. Joining a cyclo riding tour can be a fun way to explore this small ancient town. Moreover, tourists can take a cooking class to learn some local secrets behind each specialty of Hoi An or simply relax by the river listening to music. For those who are looking for more sporty activities, there are a few good dive centres in Hoi An that will provide you a professional, fun and safe experience.
I would like to visit Hoi An ancient town because its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. This is also the safest destination in Vietnam which Is widely known for its unique cuisine and hospitable people.Phố cổ Hội An, được công nhận là Di sản Thế giới vào năm 1999, nằm ở bờ bắc của sông Thu Bồn, cách thành phố Đà Nang 30 km về phía nam.
Phố cổ Hội An nổi tiếng về các giá trị văn hóa.
