It is a view held by certain people that being affluent and possessing material wealth offer individuals to be generous and provide assistance to people around them. Others, however, remark that prosperity does not imply that one will bear the responsibility of others by helping them out. In my opinion, affluence undoubtedly creates an opportunity for a person to support those around them and uplift them and I will illustrate why I think so in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, we have to understand that well-heeled people have accumulated their riches from other people, whether through an employee, an entrepreneur or through inheritance of generational wealth. In such a case, their wealth provides them with the freedom to give back to society and help individuals whose goodwill and support they have profited from. Secondly, if rich people used the freedom afforded to them to start helping other people around, it would slowly begin to decrease the global wealth gap.
Furthermore, the chance to be altruistic and selflessly help others is undoubtedly one of the most important opportunities due to wealth. Philanthropy is notable for making both the recipient and donor feel a positive, warm glow but, more significantly, allows the donor to explore avenues of personal growth and self-improvement through the act of helping. Lastly, one of the major ways wealthy people can use their platform is by creating jobs and providing funding for education and research, contributing to society positively and changing many lives in the process.
However, many wealthy people misuse the freedom afforded to them. Under the pretence of donating, some wealthy people engage in tax evasion. Others help out in the hope of polishing their public image or ascending greater heights of fame. Thus, it can be seen that many people act out of self-interest when it comes to using their wealth to provide comfort to other people.
Thus, to conclude, being wealthy does provide people with a chance to help out those around them, but ultimately it is their motivation for doing so that really creates a difference in their lives and that of others.
Sample 2:
In contemporary society, financial circumstances hold considerable significance, sparking numerous discussions about the responsibilities of the wealthy. Some individuals believe that one of the most critical aspects of wealth is aiding others, and I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment.
Firstly, possessing financial means enables individuals to extend assistance to others in various ways. Specifically, those with substantial wealth can contribute to charitable causes, such as supporting underprivileged children or individuals in remote areas lacking stable income. This, in turn, alleviates the government’s burden of aiding impoverished individuals, indirectly reallocating national funds to address other pressing social issues. Consequently, affluent individuals can actively contribute to the development of their country, fostering feelings of fulfillment and pride.
Moreover, the pervasive influence of wealth in contemporary society facilitates philanthropic efforts. For instance, affluent individuals can sponsor talent competitions or vocational training programs to nurture skilled and versatile individuals, thereby enhancing the country’s artistic and professional milieu in the long run. A tangible example of this lies in the case of Nguyen Tien Minh, who received financial support for his training from a successful figure in the sports industry, subsequently emerging as the most accomplished badminton player in Vietnam’s history on the international stage.
In conclusion, I assert that enhancing the lives of others is the most crucial contribution that affluent individuals can make in both the short and long term.
Sample 3:
There have never been more prosperous people on the earth than it is today. There is a common thought that the critical thing about being well-off is the opportunity to help others. In this essay, I will give you my opinion on this matter and why I agree with this thought.
Most people want to help others in need, and everyone can do it to a certain degree. Furthermore, a recent survey from the UK shows that the British population donates around 2% of their earnings to charity organizations. However, if we had more money and resources, we could have a greater impact. Therefore, being rich opens this possibility, as well as it doesn’t affect our living conditions in the same way, allowing us to not suffer from helping others. For example, Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world, and his contributions to charity alone are more than a number of countries donations combined.
Everyone has experienced the hopeless feeling of not being able to support close family or friends with their economic situation, for instance due to the fact of high student loans or medical conditions. However, if we had more money, we would have the opportunity to help them and give them a better life. Although, this is not always the case for everyone. Some rich people use their money on materialistic goods and only on themselves.
In conclusion, I believe that the most vital thing about being rich is that it gives the opportunity to support friends, family and others in need, however I believe some people have more egoistic priorities and intentions with their wealth.
Sample 4:
There is a popular belief that the primary significance of wealth lies in its capacity to allow individuals to assist others. While it is true that having substantial financial resources can offer the affluent an opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in need, I hold the perspective that such a responsibility does not inherently accompany wealth.
On one hand, accumulating wealth can empower individuals to alleviate the struggles of the less fortunate. This is due to the fact that affluent individuals often have fewer financial concerns, making them more inclined to provide support to others. A pertinent illustration of this phenomenon is evident in the numerous charitable organizations, where the founders or benefactors are frequently millionaires or even billionaires, generously contributing a significant portion of their wealth to aid those requiring assistance.
Despite the undeniable positive social outcomes associated with philanthropy, being affluent encompasses more than altruistic acts. Attaining a privileged position in society usually entails surmounting numerous challenges and exerting considerable effort to amass wealth. Consequently, upon achieving affluence, it is reasonable for individuals to seek enjoyment and relaxation to compensate for the arduous journey to prosperity. For instance, affluent individuals engage in various activities such as global travel, fine dining experiences, and the acquisition of luxury items like jewelry and properties. These endeavors enable individuals to derive satisfaction from their accomplishments and validate the fruits of their labor.
In conclusion, I contend that the foremost advantage of being wealthy lies in the opportunity it affords individuals to savor an enriched quality of life. While extending aid to others yields social benefits, such acts of benevolence should be regarded as discretionary rather than obligatory.
Sample 5:
Some people hold the view that the most significant aspect of being wealthy is having the chance to help other people. I completely agree with this as rich people can engage in charity work and create employment opportunities for local communities.
To begin with, I believe wealthy individuals have the unique ability to assist less fortunate members of society, with philanthropy and charity projects. This means that people in need, such as underprivileged children, can have a chance at higher education with the funding of new schools and academies by successful CEOs, who have made billions from their businesses. For instance, Warren Buffet, a famous Wall Street trader and billionaire donated a large proportion of his wealth to philanthropic causes over the past decade, particularly in the education sector. This has helped countless youngsters from low- income families that could not afford a decent education.
Another important point to consider is that rich people can create many opportunities at a local business level bringing new jobs to the local community. With investment from millionaires and top executives, many local shops and factories can be opened up, resulting in towns that have low employment being transformed economically. To illustrate this, Luton in the UK benefitted greatly from investment from Alan Sugar, a popular technology CEO, who opened a production line for Amstrad computers in the late 1990s. This resulted in many new jobs which also attracted further investment from other tech giants such as Apple and IBM.
To sum up, I firmly believe that the wealthy can assist others through charities and investment in communities, thus greatly benefiting poorer members of society.
Sample 6:
Despite the burgeoning number of individuals below the poverty line around the world, there are elite groups of people in every nation who lead lavish lives. Many masses believe that the most significant factor about being well-off is that it allows one to assist the destitute. This essay is in accordance with the above-given view and will provide supporting ideas in the upcoming stanzas.
To begin with, there are many affluent personalities who believe in benevolence and giving back to society. All their basic as well as desires are satisfied, and they live their life to the fullest. Hence to experience more joy, satisfaction and get the blessings of the impoverished they extend their support to them in many ways. There are numerous people in the wealthiest tier of society who are not just sitting on piles of money. Donations and aid are offered by such people in the form of charity as they run several NGOs, old age homes and orphanages. Many wealthy personalities invest in building some facilities for the betterment of society like schools, colleges, hospitals, libraries and many more.
To continue, such philanthropic donors develop a feeling of eternal respect and reverence for themselves in the hearts of millions. They understand that the real essence of humanity lies in kindness and being helpful to the poverty-stricken. For example, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook whose net worth is $17.5 billion donated $100 million in 2010. He made this gigantic donation to his own foundation, which tends to support the school system in Newark, New Jersey.
To encapsulate, there are several privileged folks who have conscience and believe that one is not rich until he/she is kind, humane and supportive to the seeking.
Sample 7:
It is believed that one of the advantages for the rich is that they have a chance to donate to others or support the poor in real life. There are many good and bad views on this issue before presenting my opinion that it makes the rich community help the world by having many abilities to do that.
There are many advantages of being rich. One of the obvious things is that they can make the foundation for the particular weaker population by supporting them financially. Similarly, a lot of hopeless and poor children are outside the world, so they need a hand for them to get supported. Therefore, their lives will be better if they have a talent for work and can live in a supportive environment. For example, if talented but not affordable poor students do not have a chance to attend school, their future will be dull and aimless. Because of foundation or financial backing from the rich family, they might have a good standard of living by having education and knowledge.
On the other hand, popular entrepreneurs can provide a job opportunity for the low-class communities for their earnings. Only the big boss has the ability to do that. If the poor can earn money, they can live in high quality of living standard like the others. However, some argue that only the businessmen who have the charity mindset are willing to support the others. Otherwise, it is also difficult for them to spend their money on other situations. In contrast, some societies who are not rich people but can support money as much as they can to the poor society. Therefore, it is not always true that rich men can provide financial assistance and the affordable middle-class public tend to utilize their budget wisely on others who really need that kind of support. But I think only the high authorized and tycoons can make more changes for the poor than the individual backing to them.
In conclusion, many famous tradesmen have the power to give a hand to other needed public by donating money to charities and foundations. I also totally agree that only that kind of wealthy citizen can change the lives of the low-class public by supporting them.
Sample 8:
According to a set of individuals, the indispensable aspect of having wealth is that they can lend a hand to the individuals who require help in any situation. I support the given view. The following paragraphs would include the reasons for my inclination.
To begin with, the population who are devoided of wealth cannot even look after themselves and have to do a lot of hard work to even eat once a day. As a result, even if they want to stand by others when others need some kind of financial help, they cannot afford it. These type of situations decrease their self-confidence. For instance, even if they want to help a beggar, they cannot do that because of their financial status.
Alternatively, people having an enormous amount of money can do a lot of things. Importantly, they can help other individuals in terms of money. This means that if they have a lending heart, they can pay for others in many ways without looking back. For example, wealthy persons can provide shelter to the people in the slum areas by building at least a room for each of them. As a consequence, that these poor people can shift from huts to houses. In such a way they get a chance of proving their humanity.
To conclude, being rich is truly beneficial for persons with golden hearts who never step back to help someone. Hence, I am more inclined towards the given statement.
Sample 9:
For decades, helping low-income segments of society have become appreciated. wealth has been cultivated a habit of helping population in-need population. While, in recent years, it is often said that the most essential thing about being rich is that gives them the chance of assistance., I am firmly convinced that is a crucial part of being rich; However, I believe that there are other much relevant aspects.
Without any doubt, the assistance of rich people has become noticeable financially as well as emotionally. First and foremost, such people tend to attract the attention of the mass media, who use the media in presenting their help to charities, for instance. The cogent reason provided to support this claim is that most of this financial support is transported via different kinds of channels, which increases their popularity significantly.
Furthermore, encouraging others emotionally, physically, and financially will have an effect on others' feelings, according to a variety of researches have been pointed out that. Take, for example, Mohammed Ali when he provided one million as financial support. As a result, the wealthy population needs to integrate with others in order to make deprived people have some sense of dignity.
In conclusion, it is evident that there are multiple factors that are responsible for driving the rich to assist needy people, while there are others crucial. Therefore, I firmly believe that it is a vital contribution to serve low-income layers of society regardless of the motives of the rich people. Despite that, the government should encourage them to provide assistance.
Sample 10:
A number of individuals opine that the chances of raising hands for doing good of others are the most significant achievement for a wealthy human. Although I agree with the statement, I believe some other personal aspects have equal weights.
Resource promotes a person to aid. When a person becomes rich in terms of money and assets, he actually has enough arrangement required to fulfil demands of self and others, because most of the tasks in the world are needed finance to facilitate. Therefore, a rich individual can easily support deprived or helpless people if they are kind, and thus become mentally satisfied. For example, Bill Gates, who is one of the richest business magnets of this world, is renowned for being a philanthropist, and that becomes possible not only for his kindness but also to have that budget to patronize such welfare work.
Nevertheless, another prime importance of being rich is to lead an enjoyable life. Because resourceful humans can avail lots of amenities in exchange for money, which make their life pleasurable and serve them the opportunities to survive cheerfully compared to others. For instance, an affluent person can purchase or hire luxuries accommodation, enrol in the best educational institution or travel exclusively. Besides, they can get respect from the general people by using their assets for creating employment or the development of the community. To illustrate, many affluents built organizations, and through these institutes, they are providing jobs and doing corporate social responsibilities.
In conclusion, according to some humans, the prime advantage of being rich is having the scope of doing better for the community. However, I think some other factors have the same importance for resourceful people.
