Read the following passage and mark the letter A, B, C or D on your answer sheet to indicate the correct answer to each of the following questions.
Daisy has always wanted to be a dancer. Her mother took her to her first dance class when she was three and she loved it from the start. Her two best friends, Clara and Betty, also went there so they had a great time together. Daisy's brother Dan thinks that dancing is better than classical music but worse than skateboarding!
Next summer, Daisy is going to a summer dance school in Moscow for a week. "I'm really excited about this because it is my first time on a plane!!" she says. "My mum is coming with me and of course she has been on a plane but it will be her first visit to Russia. She even knows a few words in Russian! I am going to buy a warm hat for my dad as a present - if I have enough time to go shopping!"
Daisy understands that a dancer's life is a hard and sometimes dangerous one with long hours of practice every day. "It is sometimes hard to find enough time for my homework so my parents worry about my studies. I love English, History and languages but dancing is my life. I hope that I will be able to do everything, pass all my exams and go to college. Then one day, I will become a famous dancer!" she thinks.
