Câu 1

The internet has transformed the way information is shared and consumed, but it has also created problems that did not exist before. What are the most serious problems associated with the internet and what solutions can you suggest?

Lời giải

Sample 1:

The internet has transformed the mode in which information is disseminated and acquired, however, it has also presented new challenges that were not prevalent before. The internet offers easy accessibility to incorrect information and malicious content, with potential deleterious effects. However, proper governmental actions, such as filtering and surveillance, can serve to ameliorate this issue.

The prevalence of false information facilitated by the accessibility of the internet poses a significant threat to the dissemination of misinformation, which can result in serious consequences, particularly in domains like health and finance. For instance, an individual without adequate medical expertise may provide an erroneous response to a medical inquiry made by a sick person on a social media platform, potentially causing harm to their well-being. Furthermore, the notion that individuals may willingly spread misleading information by sharing or engaging with it on social media is of greater concern, as it may trigger misunderstandings, contentious debates, and even physical confrontations between disparate groups with contrasting opinions.

By contrast, the implementation of efficient filtering and monitoring systems can ameliorate the spread of misinformation. Regulators can leverage sophisticated filtering technologies that are capable of identifying and removing offensive or controversial materials such as sexually explicit content, violence, racial discrimination, illegal drugs, and more. As an example, to prevent child exploitation and trafficking, governments can scrutinize internet activity and detect tell-tale signs like online advertisements for the sale of minors or child pornography. Upon discovery, prompt action can be taken, including but not limited to, deletion of content, arrests, and rescue operations. This helps to mitigate the dissemination of false and dangerous information, and secure the safety of vulnerable groups, particularly children.

In conclusion, the widespread availability of the internet, especially via social media, has resulted in a surge in the exposure of individuals to misinformation and detrimental materials, which can bring severe repercussions. Nevertheless, by executing efficient governmental tactics such as automated filtering and observation, this predicament can be competently regulated.

Sample 2:

It is frequently stated that the virtual world has radically altered how people exchange and use knowledge. There are obviously significant negatives to this trend, since children's excessive internet use can cause painful back pain. However, the easiest way to deal with this problem may be to include them in outside physical activity.

The fundamental issue is that youngsters who use the internet excessively are suffering from debilitating back discomfort. In other words, improper placement would seriously harm young people's health after several hours of continuous use. The cause of this is boredom, particularly during the quarantine when there was no school or outside activity for the students. For instance, a research by the Lebanese Ministry of Health indicated that excessive Internet use is the main cause of backaches. Teenagers' bad health state would thus be caused by their extended use of Internet.

However, one very effective solution to deal with this complication is limiting the time spent on the internet via a timer. In fact, the children, under the age of 18, should only consume two hours of screen time per day. This is why parents should fill the rest of it with entertainments such as colouring, biking and playing football. To illustrate, my neighbour's son spent the lockdown watching YouTube and playing online games, which led to major troubles. His parents signed him up for a soccer team and limited his internet access. Thus, assisting youngsters in learning some skills will protect their wellbeing.

In conclusion, younger children can be victims when surfing the websites, and that is why their parents should interfere to help. Engaging them in physical activities is the most suitable measure that should be enforced and abided by to combat the downsides of the internet.

Sample 3:

With the technological advancement, our lives have changed in many ways; nowadays we cannot imagine accessing the information without the internet. However, there has been an increasing number of issues related to the way we share the data online, such as inaccurate information, inappropriate content compared to the ages, and lack of privacy. A stringent implementation of cyber laws could curb the online frauds and other illegal activities online.

Teenage internet addiction is one of the most prominent issues. Many students are unable to keep their eyes off their internet-connected mobile phones even in class. Additionally, adolescents encounter a variety of unverified information online, including provocative videos and bogus news. This pattern would damage the learning environment and take the students' attention away from the text. Adequate instructions and solutions are needed to keep teenagers from becoming addicted since they lack the self-control that adults do.

The participation of the schools would be crucial in resolving the problem. One of the objectives of the institutions is to teach students how to obtain important internet material judiciously in addition to regulating pupils to form good habits. For instance, many primary schools have regulations surrounding the usage of cell phones that include things like offering time and content control apps or enforcing consequences for using them in class. For older kids, instructors have created programs to improve their ability to separate reliable information from the internet's deluge of data.

In conclusion, pupils’ indiscriminate use of internet has become the critical issue in such modern era, and the problem should be dealt with customized solutions which are accustomed to students’ learning phases.

Sample 4:

Although the internet has made people access to information more conveniently, it caused new serious problems as well. Even though it is becoming significant social problems nowadays, the issues can be resolved through careful schooling.

The main cause of serious problem of sharing information on internet is that there is too much information on the internet and that people cannot distinguish what useful and accurate sources are. Thus, they regard the wrong information as the proper one. Since internet is one of the places where people express their feelings or personal literature by uploading these on their own world, readers struggle to find out accurate one from bunch of information on the internet. For example, when writers post their historical literature on their blogs based on 30% of facts and 70% of their imagination, students, doing school assignments and coincidently arriving at that post, have higher probability to believe that literature is true because they do not have exact knowledge yet.

This problem can be solved by teaching how to recognize credible sources to students since they are young. Because internet is an important repository for information, students should be able to handle this mean. They should be taught what source is believable and how to recognize unnecessary contexts to disregard. For example, students who are working on their assignments can rely on rather official sources such as thesis than personal blogs to access to accurate information. Even though it might first be hard for students to do so, once the schools teach them the ways to practice, it would be much more useful for them to find out appropriate one. Thus, well planned school guidance can be an effective solution.

In conclusion, too much information results in serious problems nowadays, and these problems are becoming even more serious as the internet develops. Nevertheless, they can be handled by effective school education on finding right sources.

Sample 5:

The enormous growth in the use of the internet over the last decade has led to radical changes to the way that people consume and share information. Although serious problems have arisen as a result of this, there are solutions.

One of the first problems of the internet is the ease with which children can access potentially dangerous sites. For example, pornography sites are easily accessible to them because they can register with a site and claim to be an adult. There is no doubt that this affects their thoughts and development, which is a negative impact for the children and for society. Another major problem is the growth of online fraud and hacking. These days, there are constant news stories about government and company websites that have been hacked, resulting in sensitive information falling into the hands of criminals.

It is important that action is taken to combat these problems. Governments should ensure that adequate legislation and controls are in place that will prevent young people from accessing dangerous sites, such as requiring more than simply confirming that you are an adult to view a site. Parents also have a part to play. They need to closely monitor the activities of their children and restrict their access to certain sites, which can now be done through various computer programs. Companies must also improve their onsite IT security systems to make fraud and hacking much more difficult by undertaking thorough reviews of their current systems for weaknesses.

To conclude, the internet is an amazing technological innovation that has transformed people’s lives, but not without negative impacts. However, with the right action by individuals, governments and businesses, it can be made a safe place for everyone.

Sample 6:

There is no doubt that the internet has revolutionised communication and information-sharing in the same way that the telegraph and the television did before it. However, societies have had to cope with unanticipated new problems, including crimes which traditional laws are powerless to prevent. This essay will address some of the illegal acts enabled by the internet and propose solutions.

To begin with, the global scale of the internet means that national laws are no longer adequate to control what happens online. Take restrictions on legal reporting, for example. In some countries, the media is prohibited from revealing details of a defendant’s past in case this prejudices a fair trial. However, such restrictions are no longer enforceable now that information may be freely published in other countries and accessed by all. The only solution here, it seems, is to adopt global standards. Since the internet traverses national borders, the flow of information can only be controlled if all nations agree on what can and cannot be shared.

Another problem concerns anonymity, as internet users can easily conceal their identity and even impersonate others. Many crimes such as identity theft and child abuse result from the ease with which criminals can operate anonymously online. Some have proposed a system of online identification, similar to a passport, which would allow all internet users to be verified and traced. I believe this idea should be explored further, though there are clearly concerns about the security of those who use the internet to protest against oppressive regimes.

In conclusion, the only long-term solution to the problem of internet crime is greater international cooperation. Since the problem is global is scale, the solution must also be global. A new agency of the United Nations should be created to tackle the problems described here.

Sample 7:

The Internet is one of the most outstanding innovations in the digital age. Although the Internet has the potential to make human lives simple and convenient, it also creates issues. This essay discusses the Internet’s two primary problems and proposes solutions.

One of the main problems caused by the internet is a lack of security for personal information. For instance, online banking transactions or other online services often make private information vulnerable to theft. Needless to say, the damage caused by cyber-crimes is often irreparable. Another annoying problem with the Internet is its ability to create rifts between the real and virtual world. More specifically, the virtual world is so alluring that once hooked it can become an addiction creating both physical and mental issues.

However, there are solutions to alleviate these problems. To address cyber-crime rigorous government regulations on a global scale are needed. In addition, cooperation is needed amongst law enforcement agencies around the world in order to track down and apprehend these criminals who operate across multiple borders. Dealing with addiction requires intertwined cooperation between parents and schools, as most addicted Internet consumers are children. Children should be educated to realise the implications of Internet addictions and also should be encouraged to engage in outdoor activities.

In conclusion, the main problems caused by the Internet are related to crime and addiction. To solve these parents, teachers and governments should participate in eradicating the problems stemming from the Internet. By addressing these issues, people can harness the Internet’s unlimited potential and steer clear of its adverse impacts.

Sample 8:

The internet, like every other contemporary technology that has impacted our daily lives, offers both benefits and problems. For instance, it leads to major concerns like cyber-attacks (hackers) or the difficulty of using an online transition by elderly persons. To force governments to develop solutions for these sorts of challenges.

On the one hand, those with whom they lack sufficient familiarity or who are unfamiliar with online interactions. It should be seen as a crucial component of the community that needs guiding. Officials now are struggling to find a solution to this issue. To teach these individuals how to change knowledge via the internet, I believe we should create some contemporary schools. Making these institutions free would be a tremendous motivator for people. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the authorities to create locations where individuals who are unfamiliar with the internet may learn about it.

On the other hand, by utilizing high-level security procedures, we should be ready for thieves and in this case, hackers, just like with other ways of data exchange. An excellent strategy to reduce these types of scams is to create a separate police division for internet robberies, to enact strict laws against lawbreakers and have strong roles to play against them. For instance, the UK's police cyber attack continuously monitors every transaction involving money in order to stop theft. To counter this form of cyber theft, we need to implement individual enforcement.

In conclusion, even internet data sharing has numerous advantages. We shouldn't neglect to safeguard the law and inform the public about this new kind of development.

The way information is disseminated and used has changed as a result of the internet. However, it has had unfavorable impacts that were not there before.

We currently live in a technological revolution. whereas the network has grown all over the world. For instance, we frequently receive both desirable and unwanted communications when we connect by email. In particular, if a person waits for an email that is really essential to him. He will be expected to read every email in order to prevent missing a message that is crucial. Another issue also exists, and it may have an impact on our kids. Additionally, some people may experience fraud when shopping online. As a result, some customers disclosed their credit card information when making purchases using their secret number. Fraud therefore emerges from insecure, false internet websites.

However, adopting a local area network may help with some solutions. First, when parents use the internet at home, they ban immoral websites by modifying the system configuration networks. Second, bankers should obtain competent system software to configure their system in order to safeguard banks from hacking. They can also incorporate such updated code numbers, which might assist prevent their loss. Finally, while purchasing online, customers should double-check the website. Sample 10:

One of the most notable inventions of the digital era is the Internet. Although the Internet has the ability to make people's lives simple and convenient, it also causes problems. The two main issues with the Internet are discussed in this article along with potential fixes.

A major issue with the internet is the lack of protection surrounding personal data. For instance, using online banking or other services frequently leaves sensitive information open to theft. It goes without saying that cybercrimes frequently result in irreversible damage. The Internet's capacity to open chasms between the actual and virtual worlds is yet another bothersome issue. More precisely, if a person gets hooked on the virtual world, it can become an addiction that causes both physical and emotional problems.

There are, however, ways to make these issues go away. Globally applicable, strict government policies are required to counter cybercrime. In order to find and capture these criminals who operate across international borders, law enforcement authorities must work together. Since children are the majority of hooked Internet users, parents and schools must work together to combat addiction. Children should be encouraged to participate in outdoor activities and warned about the dangers of Internet addiction.

In conclusion, criminality and addiction are the two primary issues the Internet causes. Parents, educators, and governments should all work together to overcome the problems brought on by the Internet. People may take use of the Internet's limitless potential and avoid its negative effects by resolving these challenges.

Sample 11:

In this day and age, the Internet has changed the way of distributing and consuming information. However, the expansion of the internet may lead to various unwanted issues. There are numerous problems behind this phenomenon, and several solutions should be adopted to address those problems.

There are many issues that arise with the widespread use of the Internet. To commence with, the main problem for Internet users is the significant increase in cybercrime. In recent years, thousands of people face with information theft which can result in the loss of possession and personal information. Another serious problem is that minors may access to varieties of dangerous websites on the Internet. By way of illustration, many children all over the world suffered from life-threatening injuries on accounts of imitating bad videos on Youtube.

In order to address the aforementioned issues, several actions can be taken to protect Internet users. The first measure would be to install current antivirus system for computers. Keeping that software updated will prevent digital devices from being attacked which may lead to the loss of vulnerable information. Another efficacious way is that parents should keep an eye on their children when they surf the Internet. For example, they should inform their minors with integral knowledge so as to raise their awareness on obtaining information from the Internet. In addition, restricting the access of children by requiring more confirmation is also a feasible way for parents to deal with potential cyber dangers.

In conclusion, cyber problems can be ascribed to two reasons which are the rise of cybercrime and the access to ineligible websites of children, and this issue can be dealt with by a joint effort of both improving online security and raising awareness of minors.

Many people believe that international tourism is a bad thing for their countries. What are the reasons for this? What can be done to change this negative attitude towards international tourism?

Lời giải

Sample 1:

Many individuals think that foreign tourism brings negative effects to their countries. There are several reasons for such negative attitude towards international travelers. However, a couple of solutions could be adopted to handle this situation, as will now be discussed.

International tourists are often criticized for their contribution to the environmental degradation. It has continuously been noticed that they throw rubbish in their surroundings irresponsibly, which increases the amount of litter everywhere, despite all attempts to reduce waste produced by the local community. This contributes to water, air and soil contamination.

Furthermore, foreign tourism has a harmful influence on traditional customs and indigenous practices of host countries because many tourists are careless and insensitive about the emotions and feelings of local residents. For instance, in India, some foreign travelers wear inappropriate clothes or expose too much of skin when they visit sacred places, which leads to some negative attitude and irritation in the local public.

However, this situation can be improved adopting different solutions which could be handled by the government. The government should explain the benefits of international tourism which contributes to the development of local residents. They not only spend money in shops and restaurants but also create jobs in service industries, and this aspect could be publicized. Additionally, the government should increase the awareness among the foreigners through different media such as roadside billboards and advertisements, and tourists should be encouraged to get rid of rubbish correctly.

In conclusion, the inhospitable feeling that the local people have for international tourists can be explained in many ways. However, in my opinion, the government's involvement is essential to change the negative attitude by citing various advantages of international tourism to their country and raising awareness among tourists in order to protect local habitats.

Sample 2:

It is widely argued that global tourism has a negative impact on destination resorts and countries. While there is a strong case for this view, solutions must be applied to resolve some of the serious issues which have arisen.

There are two primary reasons why local residents often consider international tourism as a cause of serious problems in their countries. One reason is that it may have an adverse impact on traditional customs and indigenous practices, because tourists may be insensitive towards the feelings of local residents. For example, some western holidaymakers visiting developing Southeast Asian countries may be rowdy or wear unsuitable clothes, which might have an undesirable influence on local young people who copy immodest or provocative behaviour and fashions. Another reason is that tourists often pollute or litter beauty spots and several famous beaches in Vietnam, such as Cua Lo and Sam Son, have been spoiled by this lack of respect for the local environment.

Measures must be taken by governments and international bodies to change negative attitudes. Firstly, the undoubted economic benefits of international tourism for local economies ought to be more widely promoted through the official media. International tourists spend money in shops and restaurants and create jobs in service industries and this aspect must be publicized. At the same time, tourist agencies should urge visitors to respect the local customs and culture of their hosts. Secondly, bodies such as the World Tourism Organisation must enforce strict regulations on the tourism industry, ensuring that local operators are responsible for clearing litter and disposing of waste in ways that do not harm the environment, and issuing international Blue Flags to indicate clean beaches.

In conclusion, only by addressing the concerns of local people will negative attitudes to international tourism be changed.

Sample 3:

In recent years, international tourism has become a growing trend in many disparate parts of the world. However, a hostile attitude towards this trend has emerged amongst local people. Some explanations for this social problem will be put forward, before some possible solutions are drawn.

There are two significant reasons as to why hostility is felt by local residents against international tourism. The most important reason is that this industry may endanger social cohesion in the local community, when a group of people may benefit from providing services for foreign tourists, and become more prosperous than the rest, who are mostly fishermen and farmers. As such an income gap is created, people of lower levels of earnings may feel disadvantaged, and a negative attitude towards foreign travellers may prevail. In addition, foreign visitors may also antagonise the locals because of the cultural differences between these two groups of people. A clear example of this is that a Japanese waiter in a local restaurant may feel dishonoured if an American tourist leaves him a tip, a very common and well-appreciated practice in the US and other countries.

Some measures can be implemented to change the antagonistic attitude of locals towards international tourism. The first important solution is that the authorities may introduce new taxation schemes on tourism-related services and use this tax money to invest in other industries. In this way, all residents can equally benefit from the rise of international tourism, and social balance in the area is maintained. Besides, there must be free-of-charge cultural-exchange programmes for all people. If such programmes are held, mutual cultural understandings between the locals and the visitors are fortified, and the problem of cultural differences can be mitigated.

To conclude, the fact that local citizens may perceive international travel as an adverse trend can be ascribed to cultural misunderstandings and the loss of social cohesion in the area. This negative perception can be properly addressed by a new tax on services for tourists and cultural-exchange activities.

Sample 4:

There are several reasons why many people have a negative attitude towards international tourism. However, this can be handled by adopting possible solutions, as will now be discussed.

Firstly, the influx of foreign travelers is often associated with an increase in the level of environmental pollution. Many tourists throw rubbish into the surroundings irresponsibly, which contributes to air, water and soil contamination. In addition, there might be a growing demand for transport, decreasing the air quality at the tourist destination.

Secondly, international tourism increases the odds of spreading infectious diseases into the local community. Viruses such as Ebola and H5N1 can become a threat to the locals if an infected traveler visits their country. In Vietnam, for example, many people died after a visitor from Hong Kong carried the H5N1 virus to the country in 2003. This example makes it clear why many people are still against the development of international tourism.

However, there are a range of options that can be taken to improve the situation. One measure would be that the government should continue campaigns to raise the awareness of tourists when they pay a visit to a new land. Travellers should be encouraged to put waste into the right place or to use public transport if possible. Another remedy is that there should be medical checks at airports and borders. This is to guarantee that infected visitors should be quarantined to halt the spread of the disease.

In conclusion, negative feelings about global tourism still are common in society. However, this can be resolved by taking the above suggestions.

Sample 5:

Some people are not in favour of foreigners visiting their country. They feel that international tourists do more harm than good to their culture. In my opinion, this negative attitude is the outcome of various misconceptions about foreigners. The government and the media can do a lot to bust these myths.

Cultural differences exist between nations and that is the reason behind this animosity towards foreign tourists. People, especially those living in conservative societies, believe that the influx of foreign tourists to their country can damage their ethnic culture and values. India, for example, is a conservative country that expects both men and women to dress modestly and behave conservatively in public. When western tourists, especially women, wear skimpy outfits while touring the country, they invite a lot of unwanted stares. The same thing happens in Arabian countries where public display of affection is strictly forbidden. Obviously, Arabians do not like it when foreigners kiss or engage in other acts of affection in public.

While it is true that no culture is better or worse than others, countries should still advise their people to dress and behave appropriately when they are abroad. Foreigners need to realize that when they disrespect local customs and traditions, they are putting their safety at risk. Host nations should also convince their people that tourism is actually good for their country and economy. It creates jobs and boosts local economy.

To conclude, misconceptions about foreigners are the reason many people dislike them. International tourists can do a lot to dispel these myths by behaving appropriately and respecting foreign cultures and customs when they are abroad. The governments of host nations should also convince their people of the importance of tourism.

Sample 6:

Today, travel destinations all over the world welcome a growing influx of foreign visitors every year. Many people living in these places are, however, finding this development particularly displeasing. This essay will examine the reasons behind this thinking before suggesting some ways to change the hostile view towards international tourism.

There are a host of factors to which this hostility can be attributed. Firstly, the arrival of foreign visitors is often accompanied by an increased level of pollution. Many tourists dispose of garbage at their own convenience, with complete disregard for the surrounding environment. For this reason, New Zealand's government ordered the immediate demolition of the castle built for the filming of 'The Lord of the Rings' upon the movie's completion, fearing that, if it remained, travel enthusiasts would flock to it and litter the area.

Another fear that the locals harbor against foreign visitors is the possibility of a disease outbreak. This fear is rooted in past incidents when viruses and diseases were spread from one territory to another by tourists. An example of this is the recent Ebola outbreak, where infected travelers carried the virus from Africa to a number of other countries, causing a significant number of casualties.

However, these problems are not without solutions. Concerns that tourists may harm the environment can be addressed by properly instructing them not to litter and be mindful of their surroundings. In addition, governments should continue to conduct thorough health inspection at international airports. Healthy travelers should be educated on the symptoms of contagious viruses while those who exhibit these symptoms must immediately be quarantined. This would certainly help local residents to feel more at ease about the presence of tourists.

In conclusion, while there are legitimate reasons as to why locals view tourists unfavorably, a number of steps can be taken to banish these negative feelings.

Sample 7:

A group of individuals consider foreign tourism has more negative effects in a society rather than positive impacts. Certainly, there are several reasons behind developing negative attitude towards international tourism. However, by taking some steps, views of people can be changed.

The opponents of international tourism may argue that tourists cause pollution and can damage the environment. Tourists’ destinations are more polluted in comparison to other areas in a country. Foreign visitors often get criticised due to their irresponsible behaviour towards a host country. Many times, tourists get caught throwing litter here and there. This excess of littering disturbs local residents. Furthermore, tourists do not always respect beliefs and customs of different culture. Foreign travelers may hurt the feelings of local people due to poor understanding of others’ beliefs. What is more, sometimes youngsters get influenced by tourists. The country may lose its own values and sense of identity.

Nevertheless, with the help of government this situation can be tackled. First of all, the government should explain the benefits of international tourism which helps in boosting the foreign revenue of any country. During their stay, travelers spend a hefty amount on accommodation, transportation, meals and many other facilities. This way local people earn a good amount. International tourism not only provides monetary support but also generates employment in a society. By having negative attitude towards foreign tourists, is a loss of people only. Moreover, the government can provide the guidelines to tourists just after their arrival in any country. The government should have proper advertisements and banners for spreading important knowledge. There should be a list of rules and regulations can be given to them so that activities by tourists can be performed accordingly.

To conclude, there is no doubt that tourism is a backbone of any economy at this point of time. However, with the involvement of the government people’s negative attitudes can be changed towards the foreign travellers. Simultaneously, the government can raise the awareness among tourists also to protect the local habitat.

Overpopulation of urban areas has led to numerous problems. Identify one or two serious ones and suggest ways that governments and individuals can tackle these problems.

Lời giải

Sample 1:

Many countries of the world are currently experiencing problems caused by rapidly growing populations in urban areas, and both governments and individuals have a duty to find ways to overcome these problems.

Overpopulation can lead to overcrowding and poor-quality housing in many large cities. Poorly heated or damp housing could cause significant health problems, resulting in illness, such as bronchitis or pneumonia. Another serious consequence of overcrowding is a rising crime rate as poor living conditions may lead young people in particular to take desperate measures and turn to crime or drugs.

In terms of solutions, I believe the government should be largely responsible. Firstly, it is vital that the state provides essential housing and healthcare for all its citizens. Secondly, setting up community projects to help foster more community spirit and help keep young people off the street is a good idea. For example, youth clubs or evening classes for teenagers would keep them occupied. Finally, more effective policing of inner-city areas would also be beneficial.

Naturally, individuals should also try to address these problems. One way is to put pressure on the government to ensure they tackle the problems by, for instance, forming action groups to lobby the government and request intervention and adequate funding. They could also form Neighbourhood Watch areas to try and help reduce the high levels of crime.

Therefore, it is clear that the problems caused by overpopulation in urban areas are very serious. Yet if governments and individuals share a collective responsibility, then it may well become possible to offer some solutions.

Sample 2:

Many people are constantly traveling from rural areas to cities for better opportunities. However, problems are now being witnessed in a wide range of countries around the world as a direct outcome of rapidly increasing populations in urban areas. The government and the people should cooperate to resolve these problems.

Overpopulation is leading to densely packed cities. The residents barely have a place that they can call their own. It has led to the existence of slum areas in the cities. The biggest example of this is the slums of Dharavi, in Mumbai. These areas are dirty and reduce one's immunity, exposing one to a variety of different diseases. With the cost of education so high, people are not educated enough to secure a job. Thus, they take desperate measures and turn to criminal activities. These have risen due to unemployment and the demand for necessities.

To resolve these issues emerging from the overpopulating cities, governments, and citizens should work together. The government should make the necessities available to the people at a minimal cost. And education for children should be made affordable at least until graduation to ensure a job after the completion of their studies. To decrease the crime rate, strict surveillance should be implemented to restrict the movements of criminals. The youths should be made aware of the consequences of their actions and discouraged from doing illegal activities. The government should make housing units in the form of apartments to accommodate the people and eradicate the slum areas.

In conclusion, people moving from the country to the city are making cities more crowded and causing a lot of problems for the people who live there. The government and individuals working together and taking responsibility for the change can solve them.

Sample 3:

Throughout the last few decades, the world's population has increased tremendously. Due to population growth, urban areas are most impacted. Overpopulation increases pollution and living expenses. But if government officials and individuals work together, these problems can be significantly reduced.

Urban regions are being developed quickly by governments because of the evolution of technology. As a result, more people are moving to large cities, which has produced numerous issues. First, overpopulation has caused the cost of living in cities to go up. There is a growing demand for houses as the population grows. Another major issue is the ever-growing pollution. Air pollution and water pollution are continuously rising. The use of private vehicles has caused air pollution to rise. Along with them, the smoke and waste released from the factories are also contributing to polluting the air as well as the water.

To resolve these problems, the government should encourage the citizens to stop migrating by creating job opportunities in their local and rural areas. For instance, factories or companies should be established in the villages to create an opportunity for people from the surrounding villages and towns to work there. This will stop the constant migration and increase in population in the cities. To reduce pollution, strict laws and regulations must be implemented by the authorities. The factories' heads should be penalized for releasing the waste without filtering it and encourage citizens to carpool or use public transportation to reduce air and noise pollution on the roads.

To conclude, the ever-increasing population in megacities has led to various consequences and outcomes. These can be resolved by the government through proper planning and implementation of some laws and policies.

Sample 4:

Overpopulation is currently the world's biggest threat. Problems caused by overpopulation are something that residents of major cities have to learn to cope with. In this essay, I'll discuss the issues in urban areas and how individuals, governments, and institutions can solve them.

In urban areas, several issues are brought on by an abnormally high number of people. To start, there is traffic congestion in megacities. To explain this, there has been an increase in the overall number of people, as well as an excessive amount of usage of both private vehicles and public transportation. Air pollution and road accidents increase as a result of rising traffic jams. Consequently, the cost of living rises because big cities are becoming densely populated. Because of the large number of people migrating to big cities in search of better opportunities, it was important to build more houses and improve the infrastructure. Due to this, the prices of the apartments go up. Hence, middle-class people can barely manage to afford them.

To solve the problems mentioned above, governments must first expand the roads and build new flyovers. They should also start metro trains within the city and construct rail lines underneath the city. These changes will help reduce traffic jams. The public transportation system should be improved and expanded to encourage citizens to use it instead of private vehicles. Moreover, the municipalities of cities and towns should build new houses and improve their infrastructure. They should give the government housing units at a moderate cost so that middle-class families can afford them.

To sum up, overpopulation is a major issue in urban areas. It causes various problems, like jammed roads, higher living expenses, air pollution, and so on. Therefore, both governments and individuals should reduce it.

Sample 5:

Overpopulation is one of the most pressing issues faced by the entire world in this day and age. Today, the world population is well over 7 billion and rising. The more concerning fact is that the distribution of population is severely erratic and is concentrated primarily in countries like China and India. Consequently, this predicament has precipitated countless complications among the general public, especially those residing in urban areas. In this essay, I will address some of the significant problems caused by overpopulation and suggest possible solutions to overcome the situation.

One of the gravest problems that are facilitated by overpopulation is the deficiency of living space. As we know that land resources are limited in nature, the area available for residence is also finite. Since the majority of the population resides in urban areas, the ability to shelter every individual becomes an arduous task. This phenomenon is called overcrowding and is relatively common in metropolitan areas. Additionally, due to the issue of overcrowding, the collective standard of living also declines considerably in urban cities. As the number of inhabitants surges, the means of the local authorities to provide decent public services like safe drinking water, sanitation and proper food is hampered.

Nevertheless, some measures can be taken to uplift these circumstances. First and foremost, the concept of family planning should be made known to the underprivileged and uneducated sections of society. It is only when the stigma regarding such sensitive subjects is eradicated that the focus of the populace will be re-directed towards more distressing matters. Also, proper city planning must be undertaken by the administration to tackle the current situation of overpopulation. With a reliable system, the plight of innumerable urban dwellers can be resolved.

Finally, the problem of overpopulation is something that cannot be solved instantly. With the consolidated efforts of both the general public and the government, the further aggravation of this issue can be restrained.

Sample 6:

Overpopulation is one of the biggest hurdles that people around the world confront in today’s fast-paced environment. The city dwellers have suffered many hardships as a result of the technological and industrial revolution. The two most significant concerns created by urban overcrowding are high living costs and the persistent spread of pollution. To address these socioeconomic concerns, the government can take a variety of policies and preventative steps. The following essay will highlight the major issues and potential solutions to this pressing problem.

Technological improvements have resulted in an increase in the number of urban regions, resulting in people migrating to these cities. One of the most serious problems exacerbated by overcrowding is an increase in the expense of living in metropolitan regions and lack of space because land resources are limited in nature, and the amount of space accessible for living is similarly limited. As a result, procuring accommodation for each person becomes a difficult endeavour. Second, bumper-to-bumper traffic congestion is a severe consequence of overcrowding. Growing population allows people to opt for transportation services resulting in an increase of pollution.

However, the government can take some steps to address the overpopulation problem. To begin, the government can establish strict birth control regulations to reduce population increase, and the concept of family planning should be promoted to the poor and underprivileged. Apart from that, the government may develop rural areas by providing adequate infrastructure and providing employment opportunities for youth, thereby preventing people from relocating to urban areas. Furthermore, the government might invest in new modes of transportation to alleviate traffic congestion.

To sum up, traffic congestion, pollution, and high living costs are only a few of the repercussions of overcrowding in metropolitan areas. However, through establishing laws and enforcing bills, the government and higher regulatory authorities can focus on addressing these issues. Hence, overcrowding problems can be resolved with proper planning. Although it may not completely solve the issues, it will surely reduce the population.

Sample 7:

Nowadays, increased population density in many cities has caused several issues. This essay will first discuss how overpopulation places enormous strain on infrastructure, and then outline how governments and individuals can alleviate this situation by adopting sustainable policies.

A major impact of overpopulation is that it puts a huge strain on infrastructure. That is to say, an increasing population is associated with increased demand for several services and systems. Consequently, the increased demand translates into enormous pressure on basic amenities, such as housing, clean water supply, sewage system, and electric supply to name but a few. By way of illustration, the influx of people can lead to a housing shortage, which in turn, pushes up the prices of building materials and rental prices. In consequence, citizens may struggle to find affordable housing, thereby causing the proliferation of slums that lack the most basic utilities.

The government can encourage sustainable infrastructure exercises to come to grips with the strain on infrastructure caused by overcrowded populations in metropolitan areas. They can promote sustainable building constructions, implement renewable energy solutions, and devise sustainable water management systems. Governments can adopt policies to ensure affordable housing. A case in point is the Singapore Housing Development Board; it subsidizes sustainable building initiatives to mitigate environmental impacts while ensuring affordable housing for its citizens. In addition, individuals can also play a profound role in reducing the pressure on resources caused by population explosion. They can purchase energy-efficient home appliances. This means that they can choose products that are manufactured sustainably and cause minimum environmental pollution, therefore improving the conservation of energy resources.

To recapitulate, the growth of the population in urban areas places enormous pressure on infrastructure. However, both governments and individuals can curb the strain on infrastructure caused by overcrowded conditions by adopting sustainable policies.

Sample 8:

The rapid urbanisation witnessed in recent decades has led to severe overpopulation in many cities, resulting in a myriad of challenges. Two significant problems associated with this trend are the strain on infrastructure and the exacerbation of environmental pollution. Addressing these issues requires concerted efforts from both governments and individuals.

Firstly, overpopulation places immense pressure on urban infrastructure. Cities often struggle to provide adequate housing, leading to the proliferation of slums and informal settlements. This situation is compounded by insufficient public services such as transportation, healthcare, and sanitation. For instance, in cities like Mumbai and Manila, the sheer volume of people has overwhelmed public transport systems, resulting in chronic congestion and increased commute times. To alleviate this, governments should invest in expanding and upgrading infrastructure. This includes building more affordable housing units, enhancing public transport networks, and improving healthcare facilities. Additionally, implementing policies that encourage decentralisation, such as developing secondary cities and promoting rural-urban migration, can help distribute the population more evenly.

Secondly, overpopulation significantly contributes to environmental degradation. The concentration of people in urban areas leads to increased waste production, higher energy consumption, and greater emissions of pollutants. For example, Beijing and Delhi have faced severe air quality issues due to the high concentration of vehicles and industrial activities. Governments can tackle this problem by enforcing stricter environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices. Measures such as expanding green spaces, incentivising the use of public transport, and supporting renewable energy projects are crucial. Individuals also play a role by adopting eco-friendly habits, such as recycling, using energy-efficient appliances, and participating in carpooling schemes.

In conclusion, overpopulation in urban areas presents serious challenges, particularly in terms of strained infrastructure and environmental pollution. To address these issues, governments must invest in robust infrastructure and enforce stringent environmental policies, while individuals should adopt sustainable practices.

Sample 9:

Overpopulation in cities is a growing concern that governments and individuals have to take into account seriously. They should work together to reduce both the causes and the inconveniences it creates. This essay will examine what are the issues caused by overcrowding in urban areas and propose possible solutions to these problems.

We can truly affirm that the first issue of overpopulation in cities is traffic congestion that kills valuable time and pollutes the air. When people are stuck on the roads, they are not productive, and it adds up to the national loss of millions of dollars each week. It also pollutes the air and causes illness to citizens. Many cities do not have the means to handle the charge of rubbish cast away by their inhabitants which leads to a dirty city environment. The lack of decent accommodation is also a growing problem that cities must deal with. Many people are unable to find a place to live which is a step back for cities’ development.

Fortunately, if we sit down for a few minutes to think about what each of us could do to tackle these problems, it is not hard to find a solution. Individuals should use public transportation as often as they can rather than using their cars and the government should build more roads and improve public transportation to address the issue of traffic jams. The governments can impose a tax on car ownership and develop public transport. To handle the garbage issue, households should sort out the rubbish they throw away. For accommodation problems, the poorest should establish the sharing flats system. The government can expand the city area and can help construct more buildings to handle the accommodation issue.

To conclude, we all know that these problems are worrying and growing but if every one of us thinks about what we can do to make it better. I am sure that these issues could be solved.

Sample 10:

Ever since the industrial revolution, people have been migrating to urban centres in droves. Hence, cities have become overcrowded, which in turn has resulted in many hardships for their dwellers. It is opined that high costs of living and rising transport difficulties are two of the most serious problems brought about by overpopulation in cities. To tackle these issues, suburb developments and infrastructural changes will be analysed for viability.

To begin, the costs of living in big cities have reached an exorbitant level in the past few decades due to the ever-growing population density in these areas. One of the ways in which this alarming issue can be addressed is via the development of upscale housing communities on the outskirts of major urban centres. For example, in Karachi, Pakistan, the government has initiated many such projects outside of the metropolitan area, which has helped to curb the high costs of property in the city. As a result, property ownership rates in the city have increased in the last few years, especially by the middle class. Therefore, the plausibility of establishing such housing arrangements can be clearly seen.

In addition, many cities now face the epidemic of regular bumper-to-bumper traffic jams due to the ever-increasing population. A feasible way to counter this issue is the invest in newer modes of transportation, and people should use these alternatives. Take London, for example, where the underground subway system has dramatically eased the traffic congestion in most parts of the city. Thus, the subway system has become the preferred way of travelling for most inhabitants of London. As a result, the number of cars on London’s roads has dramatically shrunk in numbers. Hence, the effectiveness of this suggested solution is obvious.

In conclusion, setting up housing communities outside of city limits and establishing alternative means of transport are effective ways to counter the negative ramifications of overpopulation in cities. It is thus hoped that these strategies are put into practice by governments the world over.

Sample 11:

The rising population in metropolitan areas has caused significant repercussions. This has resulted in the incessant spread of pollution and an escalation of poverty. However, there are several preventive measures that the government and individuals can implement to address these problems.

No doubt, an increase in inhabitants in a big city is accompanied by a rise in pollution. In cosmopolitan regions, there are impoverished groups who live in squalor. Some of them have chosen to settle in the city because they believe that they can easily find employment there. For example, in the Philippines, some poor individuals built homes in the boulevard of Metro Manila, thus contributing to the amount of waste.  These people dispose of their rubbish anywhere, which pollutes the environment. In addition, this less affluent cohort has a large number of families. These members have personal needs, which cause a burden to the breadwinner of the family. Since the city has several educated workers, the impecunious group often seems to struggle in searching a better employment. To illustrate, they cannot procure a decent job since they did not finish their education. Hence, these people will suffer from poverty.

However, it can never be denied that the government can implement platforms, which will mitigate the social dilemma, and people take initiatives to mitigate these issues. First of all, they can increase the number of employment offers in suburbs such as providing them with lands that can be cultivated. Therefore, impoverished people will not aggregate in the city. Secondly, the government can provide educational campaigns and programmes to these individuals. People who struggle in big cities can also decide to return to villages and start their lives there.

To conclude, the proliferation of pollution and the exacerbation of poverty are the negative ramifications of the rise of residents in the city. Nevertheless, the state projects and people's participation in them can curtail this social issue.

Sample 12:

All over the world, cities are choked by the numbers of people that they attract. The industrialization of agriculture has led to more and more people fleeing the countryside and looking for work cities. As a result, the population of urban areas is growing but the respective infrastructure is not always up to the challenge. One of the main problems arising from this trend, in my opinion, is the level of pollution, especially air pollution from motorized traffic.

Smog has become a ubiquitous problem in cities. Cars, lorries, vespas - they all spew pollutants into the air that are not easily contained or cleaned up. The more people arrive in an urban area, the more there is a need for transport, both of goods and of people.

While smog in itself is unpleasant, there is a flow-on effect in public health, as smog can cause serious respiratory illness and even death. This means that urban air pollution is not simply an aesthetic issue but is indeed a severe health problem that drains public health systems.

It is thus in the best interest of governments to tackle this issue. One obvious solution to the problem is an investment in rail-based infrastructure, which provides a means of transport that doesn't produce smog. Such an investment should include both public transports, for example, light-rail or train, and rail-based transport of goods. Furthermore, governments could initiate public health campaigns, including advertising, to better educate the public about the risks of smog.

Individuals, on the other hand, also have a role to play. They can make an effort to chose public transport over the car - even if it isn't always as convenient - and they can even choose the bike as a means of getting around. In addition, a lot of traffic can be avoided if one simply chooses to live near the workplace.

In conclusion, it is unlikely that the influx of people into urban centres is coming to a halt anytime soon. Among the many problems this development causes, urban air pollution is one of the most pressing ones, but it can be tackled if governments and individuals realize the urgency of this public health crisis and act accordingly.

Sample 13:

Many countries in the world are experiencing excessively growing population in large cities. This essay will first discuss issues of accommodation due to overpopulation, followed by the analyses of the community projects and government initiatives as the most effective measures to improve the situation.

The principal problem of densely populated cities is overpriced property. In other words, due to the migration of people to urban areas there is a high demand for accommodation and considerate number of people can not afford to finance housing bills. As a result of overpriced property, the crime rate is rising as poor living conditions push young people in particular to desperate measures and turn them to crime. For example, it has been revealed that 38 per cent of the crime related to a robbery was conducted by young people below 30 years old which had difficulties to pay accommodation fee.

The best solution to this worrying problem is for the government to invest in development of outskirts of major urban cities by constructing new living estates, promoting social services and infrastructure development. Therefore, a considerable number of people will prefer to live outside of the city for a decent price rather than paying extremely high accommodation fee in overpopulated downtown. To illustrate this, Times Magazine has published a research which showed that since the start of outskirts development, more than 29 per cent have moved from the city to nearby small towns due to affordable rent.

At the same time, individuals should also address negative effects of urban city's overpopulation such as crime. To put it differently, people can form action groups to watch areas with poor quality housing and promote healthy environment in order to reduce crime rate by proving employment support. Therefore, people which are below minimum living standards could feel more secure without need to be involved in illegal activities. It has been revealed that areas with community activists tend to have a decrease crime rate by 12 per cent since the time those communities were formed.

In summary, the most effective ways to tackle the problem of overpopulation are developing the outskirts of the cities and forming of activist's groups by individuals.

Sample 14:

Day by day the number of people who move to central cities of countries in order to get better job, education, life standards etc. increase and this process is called urbanization which leads to several problems. Issues related to crowded places arealways on the agenda of government authorities and among most discussed problems by people.

The number of people living in a particular place and the amount of food demanded are generally positively correlated and it means that when overpopulation occurs need for most goods starts to exceed the equilibrium point. Being an unavoidable problem of increased population food security is something administrative bodies of cities and states should take care of. To attract both local food producers to enlarge their businesses by providing them with credits and subsidies and to make transport of food products to cities easy would be a long-term solution of the problem. Additionally, tariffs and quotas on import of food commodities can be decreased in order to encourage foreign producers to export their goods to the places where overpopulation exists.

Another problem which is also a consequence of intensive urbanization is that those who come from rural areas of the country often have difficulties in getting used to the environment and people. To solve this issue the role community is more than any authority. Local inhabitants of cities should try to let newcomers get involved in the social life of city and help them to understand things related to urban life.

As a conclusion, a common problem of most cities caused by urbanization process which is called overpopulation have some negative results. But both state authorities and members of society should take action to solve this problem.

Sample 15:

Over the past few decades, the number of people living in cities has increased dramatically. There are numbers of considerable dangers about this phenomenon, and various measures can be taken both by the public sector and citizens to improve the situation. This essay will review the negative aspects of overpopulation and will propose some solutions to address the problem.

There are several apparent complications resulting from the above-mentioned trend. The most critical concern is that a growing society is increasingly demanding necessities such as clean water and nutritious food. As a result, some city councils have faced the issue that they cannot provide for their citizens due to the scarcity of these basic goods. Besides this, the unemployment rate has risen noticeably in megalopolises all over the world. For example, there are not enough job vacancies for young graduates in Moscow nowadays.

However, the problem can be solved. The best way for governments to do this would be to introduce generous incentives for nuclear families to have only one child. Consequently, people would understand that having fewer children can be beneficial. Additionally, adults should teach young boys and girls about the importance of family planning in order to decrease teen pregnancy rates. For example, sex education can be made a mandatory subject in schools.

In conclusion, uncontrolled population growth has increased unemployment and has depleted the stock of basic products in cities. After analysing the subject, it has become quite evident that the best approach to deal with the problem is to educate the youth of today while persuading adults to raise only one offspring. Although the issue is unlikely to be eliminated in the short term, these are concrete suggestions which can be followed to reduce the negative aspects of overpopulation.

Nowadays many people have access to computers on a wide basis and a large number of children play computer games. What are the negative impacts of playing computer games and what can be done to minimize the bad effects?

Lời giải

Sample 1:

In the digital era, the rise in computer access has significantly boosted video gaming among children, leading to concerning physical and mental health effects. This essay will examine the negative impacts, such as increased obesity, vision issues, social isolation, and emotional problems, and will propose mitigation strategies, including parental control, physical activity promotion, and digital literacy education, to counterbalance these adverse outcomes.

Firstly, the immersion in virtual gaming can significantly impair physical health. Children, ensconced for hours in front of screens, fall prey to sedentary lifestyles, leading to obesity, vision problems, and reduced physical fitness. For instance, a study by the World Health Organization found a direct correlation between increased screen time and a rise in childhood obesity rates globally. Furthermore, the mental health of young gamers is at risk, with increased exposure contributing to issues such as anxiety, depression, and social isolation. The immersive nature of these games often substitutes real-life interactions and experiences with virtual accomplishments, diminishing the development of critical social skills and emotional intelligence.

To counteract these adverse effects, a multifaceted approach is necessary. Parents and educators play a crucial role in setting and enforcing limits on screen time, ensuring a balance between digital entertainment and physical activity. Implementing 'tech-free' zones or times can encourage children to engage in physical play or hobbies that foster social connections and physical health. Additionally, educational institutions could integrate lessons on digital literacy and health into the curriculum, teaching children the importance of moderation and the risks associated with excessive gaming.

In conclusion, while computer games offer a form of entertainment and can have educational benefits, their overuse poses significant health risks to children. By implementing structured guidelines and fostering awareness around the importance of balance and moderation, it is possible to mitigate these negative impacts and promote a healthier, more balanced lifestyle for the younger generation.

Sample 2:

In the contemporary digital age, the pervasive access to computers has catalyzed an upsurge in video gaming among the youth, raising concerns about its effects. This discourse posits that such engagement, while seemingly benign, harbors potential negative ramifications on both the physical and psychological well-being of children. It further advocates for a balanced approach, through parental guidance and institutional support, to mitigate these effects.

Central to the discourse is the alarming trend of diminished physical activity among children, attributed largely to prolonged gaming sessions. This sedentarism precipitates not only obesity but also contributes to musculoskeletal disorders and a myriad of vision ailments, including digital eye strain and myopia. For instance, research in the Journal of Pediatric Health noted a 30% uptick in childhood obesity correlated directly with increased screen time. Equally perturbing is the psychological domain, where excessive gaming is linked to elevated instances of social isolation, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. The virtual worlds become sanctuaries, detracting from real-world interactions and the development of essential social skills.

To counterbalance these adverse impacts, a dual-faceted approach is imperative. Foremost, parental control mechanisms should be rigorously applied, encompassing both the regulation of gaming duration and the curtailment of age-inappropriate content. Concurrently, educational frameworks must prioritize digital literacy, ensuring children understand the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Extracurricular activities, particularly those fostering physical exertion and social interaction, should be promoted to divert attention from virtual engagements.

In summation, while video gaming is an indelible aspect of modern childhood, its unchecked proliferation poses significant health risks. Through judicious parental oversight and educational reforms aimed at instilling digital prudence, it is feasible to safeguard our youth's health, ensuring they thrive in both virtual and real worlds.

Sample 3:

In this modern age, with the ubiquitous access to computers, video games have become a popular activity among children. This trend is causing childhood obesity and other related diseases that arise from too much computer gaming. However, proper familial and institutional interventions by engaging the children in outdoor activities can significantly prevent this damage.

With the easy access to computers, children are increasingly preferring onscreen gaming to outdoor recreational activities that involve physical movement. This sedentary video gaming habit is leading them to develop childhood obesity, a well above the normal and healthy weight range for their age. These children are at increased risk of breathing problems and other high blood pressure related diseases. Studies suggest that children, who weigh 20 percent more than their standard average weight, are 50 percent more likely to become obese adults, which is associated with a number of serious health conditions including heart disease, types 2 diabetes, and even cancer.

However, family members can address it smartly by attracting their children to outdoor sports and entertainment that involve enough physical movement. They can enrol them at art/cultural schools for extracurricular activities which divert the children's attention from too much video gaming. By providing these facilities to the youngsters, parents can help prevent or compensate the damage occurred by the excessive computer gaming. Studies support the idea that the children, who spend at least 8 hours a week for outdoor physical activities, are 40 percent less likely to become obese adults than the children who do not do this.

In conclusion, obesity is the major problem that children develop from incredibly easy access to computers which eventually lead to an excessive gaming habit. However, regular outdoor family hangout and institutional involvement for extra-curricular lessons could be the best possible measures to address this issue.

Sample 4:

In today's world where we all have access to the internet, more and more children are playing computer games, and their popularity is increasing all the time. This essay will look at the positive aspects these games can have and also the negative effects on children.

Firstly, as education is becoming more demanding for many young people, computer games can provide a way of relaxing and reducing stress. Computer games can take us into different worlds where we can escape from reality. In addition to this, computer games today are very advanced and can help children develop their thinking skills. Instructions need to be understood, and games often include complicated problems which need to be solved.

However, there are also many problems with the increasing popularity of computer games. Many children become addicted to them, and they play for hours, sometimes through the night. In South Korea, the government has banned children from playing games after midnight as the problem was so great and the effect on education was very negative. Furthermore, some children find it difficult to identify what is real and what is virtual. Some people argue that this has led to a rise in crime inspired by video games. This is not proven, but it is undeniable that games today can be very violent.

To sum up, there are both advantages and disadvantages with computer games and it seems that parents need to exercise caution and monitor their children's activity as some games may be more suitable than others.

Sample 5:

It is a fact that more and more children are playing computer games. There's no denying this has a lot of positive and negative effects. I will give my point in this essay and what we should do to minimize the bad effects.

On the one hand, playing computer games is very beneficial for children. First, children will be smarter and more responsive when playing games. Scientists have shown that when playing games, children will increase their problem-solving ability, their eyes and hands will be faster. For example, if you want to win, you have to be patient and focused. Second, playing games will help children get along with friends. After school, children playing games together will be fun and reduce stress.

On the other hand, playing computer games also has some negative effects on young children. First, if children play games for a long time, their eyesight will be reduced. For example, playing games that are not qualified, lack of light, ... all of the above factors will cause damage to the eyes. Second, they will become inactive, just sitting in place playing games. Therefore, they will have a high risk of obesity.

To minimize the negative effects, parents should pay attention to choosing healthy and safe games for children. Let your child play games for up to 1 to 2 hours after completing the homework, this will help the child to be happy and relax.

Incluction, children playing computer games have both positive and negative effects. Although parents need to control their children so that they can play games in a healthy way.

Sample 6:

In recent years, the use of computers has become increasingly widespread, and this has led to a rise in the number of children who play computer games. While computer games can have positive effects, they can also have negative impacts on children. This essay will discuss the negative effects of playing computer games and what can be done to minimize these effects.

One negative impact of playing computer games is that it can lead to addiction. Children can become so engrossed in the games that they spend hours playing without taking breaks, which can have negative effects on their physical and mental health. To illustrate, children who spend too much time sitting in one place for gaming can suffer from a lack of sleep, poor eating habits, and a decrease in physical activity. Another negative impact of playing computer games is the exposure to violent and inappropriate content. Nowadays, most computer games include violent and graphic content, which can have negative effects on children's mental health and can desensitize them to real-world violence.

To minimize the negative effects of playing computer games, it is important to set limits on the amount of time children spend on the computer. For instance, parents could set a rule that their child is only allowed to use the computer for a maximum of one hour per day. Besides, parents can encourage their children to engage in other activities, such as playing sports or spending time outdoors. For example, parents could plan a day trip to a nearby park or nature reserve, go for a family bike ride, or play a board game together.

In conclusion, while computer games can have positive effects, they can also have negative impacts on children. It is important for parents to be aware of these negative effects and take steps to minimize them.

Sample 7:

In recent years, with the increasing popularity of technology and machinery, access to computers has become more and more common. And the large number of children playing computer games has grown sharply, too. Because of this expansion, whether they have more advantages than disadvantages or not has drawn much discussion among the general public. In this essay, I am going to clarify the positive and negative impacts of playing computer games and suggest some solutions to reduce the probably bad effects.

It is believed that playing game online will give us some disadvantages. One of the cogent reasons for playing computer games is that it helps us contact our friends, classmates, siblings faster and more effectively than in the past, which is called communication virtually. Additionally, playing computer games can be quite a good point to a child's growth into an adult. For instance, this merit is altering the traditional learning methods because it allows children to solve some basic problems and use logic in many of the games currently. Consequently, playing computer games seems highly utilitarian to the communication and development of children.

Beneficial as it is, playing computer games also causes some problems. To begin with, playing them has wasted a great deal of time and money. It makes children unconsciously lose track of time when they go online with man distractions. Besides that, being susceptible to fake news is one main demerit of playing computer games. As anyone plays any online game without verification, this paves the way for a large amount of unreliable information to be sent to uninformed netizens and supplies them with incorrect knowledge, especially children. For example, many games even provide the wrong information about violence, politics and killing. This may lead to increase aggressive feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Considering all of these downsides, playing computer games also can strongly affect their awareness and growing up.

In order to minimize these bad side impacts, parents need to solve them in a careful and slow way. First step, parents should choose age-appropriate games and monitor the content for violence or inappropriate themes. Moreover, we can also select games that have educational value or promote problem-solving skills and set limits on the length of time games are played. In particular, our children only spend no more than 180 minutes a day playing computer games.

In conclusion, there are both pros and cons to everything, and playing computer games is not an exception. In my opinion, the negatives of this phenomenon clearly outweigh its positives. However, if we keep an eye on this activity, the bad things can be avoided safely.

Sample 8:

In recent years, computer and internet usage has increased excessively, and it is a fact that almost everybody from all kinds of age groups has access to them, including children. Children's access to inappropriate internet data, such as adult video games, may have some serious adverse effects on them. This essay will discuss the problems computer games can cause and suggest some possible solutions regarding this topic.

The most important negative impact of playing computer games on a child is the risk of their psychology being adversely affected by the inappropriate imagery shown in these games. The majority of popular computer games these days all include the same type of war elements, such as shooting, murder, blood, and hatred, etc. These elements can easily cause trauma in the mind of an innocent child. If that child continues to grow up playing these types of violent games, he/she will possibly have a higher risk of becoming a criminal in the future. According to an article I've read, the vast majority of teenage school shooters in the United States all had a personal history with these kinds of games.

My suggested solution to this problem is age restriction. Children under the age of 16 should not have any type of access to games where these violent images are present. Nowadays, there are already some small warnings regarding the game content on top of the cases, but this is not enough. The sale of games with violent content to minors should be illegal, and the people responsible for this action should get prosecuted. This restriction should also include online sales. People need to acknowledge the fact that the possible side effects of computer games may be as severe as the usage of alcohol and tobacco.

In conclusion, it has to be stated that not every computer game has negative effects on a child, and some games can even be a good tool for them to get used to technology and spend free time. However, parents should be aware that the violent content of some computer games is highly dangerous for a child's mind, and they need to take immediate action on this matter.

Sample 9:

People use computers more extensively these days than ever before, and it is so widespread in our modern world that even children have access to these devices for playing games. This essay discusses the adverse impacts of playing digital games on computer devices by youngsters and suggests some measures to reduce its negative effects.

Concerning the adverse impacts of young children playing video games, the most devastating one is the addiction these games create. Millions of dollars are spent to make computer games so that they attract a large number of audiences and keep them glued to the computer screens. So they are addictive by design. And this obsession hampers children's outdoor activities, studies and even time to socialise and learn important life skills. To illustrate, many research works suggest that children who spend many hours playing computer games each day end up performing poorly in schools and avoid social events and outdoor activities. It results in physical and psychological issues including poor eyesight and despair. Moreover, violent games cloud the youngsters' judgement and make their rational thinking unstable. Oftentimes, youngsters who play violent games develop violent behaviours. To cite an example, an unfortunate shooting event that claimed many innocent lives, that took place in an American school a few years ago, was carried out by a teenager who was addicted to shooting games.

To minimise the severity of these negative impacts, parents must monitor what their children are doing, especially on computers. They should not be allowed to play computer games for more than a couple of hours each week, and parents can actively participate in those games with their children so that it becomes family time. An ideal example of it could be my aunt and uncle who play video games with their children, and as a result, children are also interested in doing outdoor activities with them. Finally, parents can use parental control over the digital content and games their children watch or play. These measures would deter children from downloading and playing games that are not suitable for their age.

To conclude, computer games, when played excessively by children, have many detrimental effects. Proper parenting and monitoring seem like the best solution to solve these problems.

Sample 10:

In recent times, the widespread availability of computers has led to an increase in the number of children playing computer games. While these games can provide entertainment and educational benefits, there are also negative impacts associated with excessive gaming. This essay will examine the negative effects of children playing computer games and suggest strategies to minimize the harmful effects.

One of the major negative impacts of children playing computer games is the potential for addiction. Children can become so engrossed in gaming that they neglect other important activities, such as homework, physical exercise, and socialising with friends and family. Moreover, prolonged gaming can lead to physical problems, such as eye strain, poor posture, and repetitive stress injuries. Additionally, excessive gaming can affect a child's emotional well-being, leading to increased aggression and mood swings. A study published in the journal "Pediatrics" found that children who played video games for more than three hours a day were more likely to have behavioural and emotional problems, including hyperactivity, problems with peers, and difficulties with conduct and emotional regulation.

To minimize the negative effects of children playing computer games, parents and educators can take a number of steps. Firstly, parents should limit the amount of time their children spend on gaming while also encouraging them to participate in other activities, such as sports, reading, and creative hobbies. Secondly, educators can incorporate digital literacy programs into their curriculum, teaching children how to use computers and technology responsibly and healthily. Finally, gaming companies can develop games that promote healthy habits, such as physical activity and socialisation.

In conclusion, while computer games can be a source of entertainment and education, excessive gaming can have negative impacts on children's physical and emotional health. To minimise these effects, parents, educators, and gaming companies can take steps to encourage responsible and healthy gaming habits.

Sample 11:

Children these days have abundance of ways to relax after stressful time study at school. Some choose to take part in sports and outdoor activities. However, since people have many methods to log on to computers on a widespread source, there is a large number of children prefer spending time on playing games on the computers. This may lead to many defective influences on those who enjoy computer games. Those matters can be worked out by guardians' control and self-conscious awareness, which are discussed in detail in this essay.

Playing computer games has metamorphosed into a severe matter that is damaging youngsters' future prospects. Along with the progress of technology, many attractive game titles have appeared on the computer systems that players can engage in with online status to chat and talk to others. It is time-consuming that children spend mostly leisure time on computers for unhelpful activities. Seriously, some are even addicted to games and willing to pay a great amount of money to own items in games as a means of enjoying the games properly.

Creating mental health problems is the persistence of playing computer games for the simple reason that online games sometimes include violence. This content of game affects seriously and directly to children's aware-established process. It will play a role in forming children's characteristics as violent and rough. A clear proof of this is some children when grown up will have dreadful behavior such as burglaries, that turn into homicides. Gravely, game addiction also forces children to be in a delusion.

Another incisive evidence that computer games influence badly on children is it causes eye diseases. Playing computer games means players have to keep eyes on the screen at whole time without resting. The eyes are affected directly by the light from the computer and get myopic and suffer from dry eyes diseases.

This concern while pressing and critical is not bereft of a workable remedy in the form of guardians' control. Parents should not ban children from computer games but set time limitation and content of the games. Besides, children must be strictly self-conscious about what they engage in on the computer which assist them to establish healthy mindset and behavior.

Sample 12:

Technology and its reach in human life have significantly increased over the past few years. This has had a lot of implications, including a dramatic increase in the number of children playing computer games. This essay will examine various impacts of this change and discuss possibilities to avoid any negative effects.

Talking about the positive aspects, playing computer games has numerous benefits. These can range from helping children develop cognitive skills to increase their logical reasoning. Games have developed into a whole industry. These have allowed children to test their abstract and logical thinking skills. Many of these games require children to follow various commands and try to solve complex problems with the use of logic. Such games are surely advantageous for a child’s mental progress.

On the other hand, people are raising concerns over the prolific use of violence and sanguinary elements that these games contain. These may be highly addictive, in the sense that they reward the players for being more violent, thereby setting a wrong example. Apart from being addictive, they contribute to arresting a child’s social development and lead to the inculcation of aggressive feelings of anger and hate in their thoughts and habits.

However, there are many steps that can be taken to minimize negative impacts. Firstly, video games are rated for different ages and parents can choose them for the children in order to avoid unsuitable content. Secondly, parents can limit the duration of playing games for the children to keep addiction at bay. Finally, parents should take an active interest in the children’s activities and encourage them to play outdoor games.

To sum it up, video games have a lot of advantages along with an array of disadvantages. Parents should supervise their children and take precautions to avoid any negative effects these might have on children.

Sample 13:

Access to computers has increased significantly over recent decades, and the number of children playing games on computers has increased too. This essay will consider the positive and negative impacts of this and discuss ways to avoid the potential negative effects.

With regards to the positive effects, playing computer games can develop children’s cognitive skills. Many popular games require abstract and high-level thinking skills in order to win, skills that may not be taught at school. For example, children need to follow instructions, solve complex problems and use logic in many of the games that are currently popular. Such experience will be beneficial to a child’s progression into an adult.

However, concerns have been raised about the prolific use of computer games by children, much of this related to the violence they contain. The problem is that in many of the games, children are rewarded for being more violent, and this violence is repeated again and again. For instance, many games involve children helping their character to kill, kick, stab and shoot. This may lead to increased aggressive feelings, thoughts, and behaviours.

In order to minimize these negative impacts, parents need to take certain steps. Firstly, some video games are rated according to their content, so parents must check this and ensure their children are not allowed to have access to games that are unsuitable. Parents can also set limits on the length of time games are played. Finally, parents should also take an active interest in the games their children are playing so they can find out how they feel about what they are observing.

To sum up, there are benefits of computer games, but there are disadvantages too. However, if parents take adequate precautions, the severity of these negative impacts can be avoided.

There is growing evidence that man-made activities are making global temperatures higher. What might be the man-made causes of temperatures rising? How should we deal with this problem?

Lời giải

Sample 1:

It is inevitable that global warming is the burning issue of the day. Human beings do such activities which are responsible for rising global temperature. There are various man-made reasons behind high temperature on earth such as cutting trees and establishing more and more factories. I will discuss these causes and give solutions in the following paragraphs of this essay to tackle the problem of high temperature.

The first and foremost man-made cause is cutting down the trees by manpower in order to clear the land for farming and industrial development. As a result of it, the oxygen level is going down day by day and level of other gases which make the temperature high is rising Such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and so on with increasement of the harmful gases, global warming is growing which lead to other serious effects on the environment such as acid rain and unseasonal rain. Secondly, masses have established more and more factories which release detrimental emissions in the atmosphere. Due to this, the holes are produced in the ozone 1 years as well as its thickness is declining day by day. As a result, this ozone layer situated in the atmosphere is unable to stop the UV rays of the sun from reaching the surface of the earth. This produces the heat in the atmosphere and global temperature grows.

So, to tackle this problem of temperature rising, we should have to be applied fruitful solutions on the war footing. First of all, we have to preserve our remaining forests. Both individuals and government should make rules and regulations against cutting down forests as men as offender should be punished by penalty or pride. To add to it, people ought to grow more and more plants and avoid cutting trees.

Moreover, mankind should have to switch to cleaner energy sources which produce no pollution in the environment such as wind energy, solar power plants, turbines and so on. The owners of various industries should be understood the complexity of high temperature on earth and use clean energy resources in their factories which are friendly for the environment.

In conclusion, it is clear that human activities are contributing significantly to global warming, making life on Earth increasingly difficult. I believe this problem will only be mitigated with good efforts of both governments an individual.

Sample 2:

There are many signs that the activities of mankind are leading to global warming. This essay will discuss the reasons why this problem is occurring and make some suggestions about how this issue can be tackled.

Perhaps the main cause of global warming is that populations are rising in almost every country, and this is causing trees to be constantly cut down to provide shelter and also food. Trees are important because they absorb CO2 and rising levels of CO2 have been linked to higher temperature levels. Another factor that is causing CO2 to rise is the industrialisation of our societies. Today, we have more and more factories and they are causing high levels of pollution in our atmosphere. Industrialisation is also leading to the burning of fossil fuels to power the factories, and this is also another source of carbon emissions. Therefore, economic activities are another cause of our planet warming.

Urgent attention is required to deal with the problem of global warming. The main way to tackle this is for forests to be protected and new trees grown. This can be achieved by the government making laws to protect the remaining forests. Grass root programs could also be started to plant new trees. In addition, the government should create incentives for factories to adopt clean energy programs to reduce the pollution they are emitting.

In conclusion, the earth’s temperature is rising because of deforestation and industrialisation. The solutions are to start preserving our remaining forests, plant new ones and to switch to cleaner energy sources.

Sample 3:

It is true that there is an increasing number of human-related activities posing grave harm upon the worldwide temperature. As far as I am concerned, this phenomenon can result in serious problems, which can be tackled using appropriate measures.

It is possibly said that this issue may be caused by some main factors. One of the prominent reasons concerning this problem is constructing a large number of factories. This is because the authority has the propensity for cutting down hundred hectares of forest to make place for building manufacturing facilities, which led to the fact that the flora and fauna’s habitat was destroyed. Henceforth, deforestation is considered as the chief culprit behind the deterioration in the biodiversity’s quality. Another factor leading to this situation is the proliferation in population. This means the acceleration in using private vehicles. The transportation’s exhaust emission exerts detrimental impacts upon the air and people’s health, resulting in the alarming rate of respiratory-related diseases.

In truth, some imperative measures ought to/ should be taken to resolve these prospective issues. Restricting the building of factories or manufaturing facilites is highly recommended. This is proven to reap greater benefits in preserving the majority of primative forests as well as exotic and rare breed of animals and plants, which prevent them from utter extinction and help to restore the natural balance. It is the government’s responsibility to encourage individuals to use mass transits. Therefore, the air contamination will be decreased, and its quality will also be enhanced. In addition, the citizens are encouraged to turn to using renewable- energy vehicles as the alternative to the fuel ones to protect the environment and their health status.

In conclusion, there are indeed various repercussions regarding human-activities’ detrimental impacts upon the environment, yet they can be solved once appropriate measures are enlisted imperatively.

Sample 4:

Global warming is becoming a greater hazard to mankind, and a multitude of reasons are contributing to the planet’s growing temperature. Man-made activities have been proven to be the primary cause. In the following paragraphs, I will discuss this issue and provide potential solutions.

Primarily, several factors directly impact the ecosystem and are destroying the earth’s atmosphere. The main reason is man-made manufacturing and economic activity. When artificial items are created, the demand for goods and services rises. For years, coal production for energy has exacerbated the world’s climate. Multiple studies, for example, conducted by university groups, reveal that the waste discharged into the air after coal production causes heat to be held in the ozone level. The heat, unable to escape this planet, causes the temperature to rise. As a result, coal should be phased out in order to halt global warming. Moreover, man-made activities that have altered animal habitats and exploited natural resources have become another significant factor contributing to global warming.

Thus, to address the challenge of increasing temperatures, we need fruitful solutions on a war footing. Firstly, we must protect our remaining ecosystems. Individuals and the government should adopt rules and regulations prohibiting the destruction of forests, and offenders should be punished by punishment. In addition, individuals should plant more plants and prevent chopping down trees. Additionally, mankind must transition to cleaner energy sources that do not pollute the environment, such as wind energy, solar power plants, turbines, etc. Finally, owners of diverse companies should comprehend the complexities of high temperatures on earth and employ environmentally friendly renewable energy resources in their enterprises.

To conclude, it cannot be denied that man’s risky actions are expanding, and people are making their existence on earth tough. However, I think that only the combined efforts of governments and individuals will be able to alleviate this situation.
